Roy Orbison Tribute Show Starring Barrie Randle
Barrie Randle has traveled across Canada and parts of the United States
with his sensational portrayal of the great "Roy Orbison".
He is without doubt one of the best "Roy Orbison" impressionists in North America.
He delivers hits like "Crying" and "Running Scared" with an incredibly wide ranging voice
mirroring the remarkable persona of "Roy Orbison".
His stage presence and likeness to the man in black creates a mystique when Barrie takes centre Stage. Barrie Randle was born in Trinidad West Indies. He moved to England and later to Canada, making Vancouver, BC his home, where he began his musical career with "The Canadian Bandstand".
In 1993 Barrie joined the "Legends of Rock ‘n' Roll" which gave him his chance to impersonate his idol Roy Orbison. The "Legends of Rock ‘n' Roll" which also included "Holly" and "Elvis" impersonators toured through Eastern Canada and into the Maritimes.
After the tour the show went to Stage West Dinner Theatre in Calgary, Alberta and played there for three months and was also a great success there. Barrie has also played in Toronto at the famous
"Le Cage Rock and Roll Heaven".
